John Krogstie holds an M.Sc. (1991) and a Ph.D. (1995) in Information Systems from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where he is currently a Full Professor in the Department of Computer Science (IDI). He served as Department Head from 2017 to 2021 and was the Director of NTNU Digital from 2022 to 2023. He is also the Director of the Center for Sustainable ICT at NTNU.
